The one who follows the crowd will usually get no further than the crowd. The one who walks alone, is likely to find himself in places no one has ever been… – By: Albert Einstein
Lessons to be learned:
We need to carefully read this quote and understand how to incorporate it into our lives. Let’s look at it one sentence at a time:
“The one who follows the crowd, will usually get no further than the crowd”…
We are surrounded by different “crowds”, in today world, also called “tribes”:
- Friends
- Family
- Co-Workers
- Associations and Groups you belong to
- Other people you identify with
Think about the particular “crowds”, you are part of.
Are you a follower, or a leader?
When you follow others, you will get to where they want to go. Is that in line with where you truly want to go? You will also progress at the speed that they deem appropriate. Is that the speed you’like to advance at?
While we need to understand the proper meaning, we should NOT take it literal!
It does mean for you to LEAD yourself. To choose your own destiny and to pick your own speed you want to move forward at.
New inventions and discoveries would not be possible without the foresight and drive of someone who beliefs so strongly in something, which others don’t “see” yet…
Also, keep in mind that you may need a team, a “crowd” around you in order to get to a place that no one “has been before”. However, even with a “crowd” around you, YOU determine the destination and lead yourself AND the crowd to where you want to go.
Begin your own tribe, attract the people you’d like to have around you…
Your decisions/your actions are based on your default tendencies.
How you act, and/or react are based on your default tendencies.
These is return is based on your global belief system. The belief about yourself. The belief about other people around you. That belief system generates the level of energy you are resonating at .
That level of energy is determining your default tendencies…

Remember, it’s never too late to start over and to change things in our life that don’t serve us any longer…
Have an awesome and successful week!
